A historic grazing property on one of the largest individual landholdings in Victoria’s West Gippsland - Buneep Park - has been listed for sale.

The outstanding 360-hectare property at 230 Wimpole Road, Bunyip North, is a highly productive cattle and sheep grazing property, underpinned by improved pastures, excellent fertiliser history and strong carrying capacity.

Buneep Park features a circa 1850, federation-era homestead and a manager’s residence within picturesque grounds, just 73 lineal kilometres from Melbourne.

CBRE Agribusiness’ James Beer and Duncan McCulloch, in conjunction with John Patterson of Alex Scott and Staff, have been appointed to market the property.

“Buneep Park provides significant land bank potential, particularly given it’s only one hour from the Melbourne CBD and expanding south-east growth corridor. We expect this, as well as the productivity of the property, will be attractive to buyers,” Mr Beer said.

“The owners have ensured the property has first class operational infrastructure, including high quality fencing, an all-weather laneway system and reticulated stock water to each paddock.”

The property also comprises six Certificates of Title and extensive cattle and sheep handling facilities, including several machinery, hay and storage sheds.

Buneep Park is available on a Walk In Walk Out basis, including 360 Angus cows and 1,300 breeding ewes. The Expression of Interest campaign closes Friday June 1, 2018 at 4pm AEST.
