6161 Hamilton Boulevard

Jaindl Land Company officially broke ground today on their new commercial office building located at 6161 Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Originally planned as a mixed-use property with restaurant space, Buckeye Partners’ 200 employees will now occupy the entire 73,000 sq. ft. of the four-story office building.

Buckeye Partners owns and operates a global network of assets for the transportation, storage, processing, and marketing of liquid petroleum products. The company has two corporate office locations in Houston, Texas and Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. Their Pennsylvania office is currently located at 5 Tek Park at 9999 Hamilton Boulevard.

“Buckeye is excited to extend its 70+ year commitment to the Lehigh Valley regional economy with our new office at Hamilton Commons.  The newly constructed building will provide our employees with enhanced, modern office facilities, offer access to local amenities, and facilitate our implementation of a state-of-the-art pipeline control center,” said Bob Malecky, president, Buckeye Domestic Pipelines and Terminals. “Jaindl and their team along with the Lower Macungie commissioners have done an excellent job to keep this development on schedule despite the current economic and medical challenges resulting from the COVID-19 situation.”

Buckeye Partners will be the sole occupant of the Hamilton Commons office building, which will offer the company a more open, environmentally friendly, and high-tech facility with room for continued growth in the future. Buckeye Partners looks forward to occupying their new space in Fall 2021.

“We are proud to partner with Buckeye in Lower Macungie and look forward to a very positive project,” said David Jaindl, President, Jaindl Land Company.

“The involvement of many key team members helped facilitate this project in a timely manner for Buckeye. We would like to thank Zator Law, Newton Engineering, MKSD, and Boyle for their support on this project. We would also like thank the Lower Macungie Township Commissioners, Planning Commission, and Staff for their support of this project,” said Adam Jaindl, Vice President, Jaindl Land Company.

CBRE First Vice President Jody King represented Buckeye Partners in the lease negotiations.

“In today’s environment, it is a bright spot working with the Buckeye and Jaindl teams to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony. This is a rare and unique build-to-suit project to commence in the Lehigh Valley given the current pandemic,” said King.
