New Boutique Women's Clothing Store Coming to Lamar Central
30 May 2018
CBRE arranged a lease for Wood and Rose, a new, locally owned, boutique clothing store, on behalf of the landlord at 3800 North Lamar, in the Lamar Central shopping center.
Bryan McMurrey, with CBRE’s Austin office, represented the landlord, Highland Resources Austin Texas. Tyler Dutton of KPG represented the tenant.
“Wood and Rose focused on this area of North Lamar as it is a prime location within a boutique retail center with the synergy of other top Austin female retailers in the vicinity such as Kendra Scott, Lure, Wildflowers and Westlake Dermatology,” said McMurrey.
Says Wendy Vaughan, owner and founder of Wood and Rose, “I am a resident of this area, and I love the new and vibrant energy that has blossomed in this part of Austin. When searching for a space for my first shop, Bird, I wanted to be in this area, but there was nothing available. When Lamar Central was built, I knew that it would be the future home of Wood and Rose. There has been so much growth north of downtown in terms of shopping and restaurants, and I’m excited Wood and Rose can be a part of it.”
Wood and Rose is expected to open its doors in the Fall of 2018.
Wendy Vaughan also owns Bird Boutique on South Lamar Blvd.
