Local publican Garry Miller has appointed CBRE Hotels to market the Brighton Hotel in Mandurah.

The 1,300sqm purpose-built tavern and restaurant is located at 12 Mandurah Terrace and offers north-west estuary views

The modern venue includes a rear public bar, restaurant and courtyard, as well as upstairs function area – all of which benefit from foreshore views.

CBRE Hotels’ Ryan McGinnity and Chloe Mason have been appointed to sell the Freehold Going Concern property via a national Expressions of Interest campaign, closing Thursday, December 5.

Mr McGinnity said the waterfront venue was well suited to both established operators and new entrants to the hospitality market.

“Since taking ownership, the owner has invested heavily in facility upgrades and repositioning the property – being purpose-built, this venue would be manageable for a single operator or would fit nicely into a larger portfolio,” Mr McGinnity added.

“The Brighton Hotel is a well-established venue, generating a consistent weekly revenue which has the seasonal potential to increase significantly as tourists and holiday home owners flock to Mandurah throughout the school holidays and summer months.”

Mr McGinnity noted that the venue was ideally suited to a hands-on operator that would leverage Mandurah’s growing population to further boost turnover and profitability.

The marketing campaign for the Brighton Hotel follows the recent sale of the ‘tavern @ the rocks’ in Two Rocks and the Subiaco Hotel – highlighting a growing confidence in and demand for Freehold Going Concern hospitality assets.

CBRE selling agent Chloe Mason commented; “the City of Mandurah is WA’s largest regional city and one of the fastest growing, its population is expected to increase by 32% over the next 17 years.”

“With such a prominent position on the Mandurah foreshore and proximity to a range of amenities, the Brighton Hotel, with its underlying land and established business, is an outstanding opportunity.”
