Pacific build-to-rent (BTR) is at an early stage of emergence. While most BTR development to date has focused on major cities, data points from the first two reports show that different regional locations in Australia and New Zealand each have multiple factors that are supportive of local build-to-rent development. An increasing number of local regional developers have recognised this and are scoping projects that have the potential to make a real difference to the rental market in their communities and shape regional rental markets in Australia and New Zealand for the better.
