The CBRE Finance Summer Analyst Internship is a nine-week summer internship for undergraduate students. You will gain hands-on experience and develop the core skills needed to launch your career in the industry.

Summer analysts are given the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in areas such as financial analysis, forecasting, and investment modeling. You will collaborate with teams supporting different business segments, giving you a holistic view of how finance covers every part of our organization. This role will help a candidate sharpen their technical skills, develop strong business perspectives, and foster relationships with senior professionals who will support future growth.

Program participants will receive real-world training and participate in networking and learning opportunities within one of the following departments:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Leverages knowledge and functional expertise to deliver consistent, world class budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning and analysis support.
  • Business Partnership – Aligns Segment Finance around CBRE’s business and go-to-market strategy by providing consistent, world-class decision-making support.
  • Finance Processes – Establishes the governance around process standardization, compliance and innovation.
  • Finance Innovation Office (FIO) – Provides support for transformational initiatives which strategically combine people, process, technology, and data changes to provide improvements in overall performance. 
  • Controllership - Ensures the completeness and accuracy of the firm’s financial and regulatory reporting.  Controllership leverages an analytical mindset and internal controls focus for business strategy and decision making.
  • Treasury – Refines and improves CBRE’s global cash management by driving automation and standardization projects to create operational efficiencies.
  • Tax – Improves the tax efficiency of CBRE's operations and optimizes the tax results of acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations while ensuring that tax filing and payment obligations are met, and tax activity is accurately reflected in financial reports.
