CBRE earns Family Inclusive Workplace certification

The Family Inclusive Workplace certification is a milestone for CBRE as the first property services company in the ranks.

Because juggling work and family life can be hard at times, building a family friendly workplace culture and giving the best experience to our current and expecting parents is one of our highest priorities.  

That’s why we are constantly looking for new ways to make it as easy as possible for people to do their best work. And we are proud to share that we have just been certified as a Family Inclusive Workplace in Australia, being the first property services company in the ranks. This milestone recognises our continuous commitment to inclusion.  

Secondary carer’s leave, superannuation contributions paid during periods of unpaid parental leave, paid leave in the unfortunate event of pregnancy loss, an in-house return to work program, a flex work framework and a new approach to hybrid working, are just some of the steps we’ve taken to help build a great, family-friendly workplace culture.  

In May 2021, UNICEF Australia and Parents At Work launched the Family Friendly Workplace initiative to provide employers with a benchmark of best practice guidelines that support employees meet their work, family and wellbeing needs.
