Australia Retail Figures Q3 2026

Key Points: 

• Net face rents increased across all retail asset classes in Q3 2026, with CBD super prime assets at 1.6% q-o-q, Regional and Neighbourhood at 0.9% q-o-q and Large Format Retail (LFR) at 1.1% q-o-q.  Tight vacancy in these segments remains supportive for consistent rent growth.
• In Q3 2026, there was c.$4.3 billion of Sales across Shopping Centres, LFR and CBD assets.  Sales activity for 2026 YTD has been $10.22bn just shy of the $12.27bn achieved in full year 2025. There is scope for 2026 activity to exceed last year's historic peak.
