Despite geopolitical headwinds and evolving AI-driven hiring strategies, India’s office sector maintained its growth trajectory in Q2 2026, underpinned by steady investment flows and sustained occupier demand.

Driven by expansion among Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and flexible space operators, quarterly absorption reached a record 24.6 million sq. ft., pushing the H1 2026 (January-June) total to a new benchmark of 45.5 million sq. ft.

Concurrently, new supply additions maintained a strong pace: project completions during the quarter reached 21 million sq. ft., elevating the half-yearly volume to 32 million sq. ft. —an all-time high for any H1 period.
