CBRE Australian CBD Return to Office Indicator Q4 2024

• The return to office continues to improve across Australian CBDs in Q4 2024.
• Average attendance reached 75% compared to pre-covid levels. This is up from 72% in Q3 2024 and 70% a year ago.
• Brisbane experienced the largest improvement over the course of the year, likely off the back of 50 cent public transport fares introduced by the QLD Government.
• Sydney showing very healthy levels of attendance on peak days (Tuesday) at 87%.
• Tenants are overdue for some growth in 2025, given white collar employment has grown by 15.5% over the past 5 years.
