Total volumes in Australia for H1 2022 was $15.2 billion, down from $23.8 b in H1 2021. Offshore investment also dropped from 35% of deals in H1 21 to 26% this year. Hong Kong investors were the most active, with Australia being the 2nd most popular destination globally, behind only Mainland China, since 2020 for capital invested out of the city.
