Ben Styles has over 25 years’ experience in real estate and property valuation industry and has experience in property valuation, property finance, funds/investment management and property development.
Ben joined CBRE in March 2015 as a QRM Director. In Feb 2016 Ben was appointed as a Senior Director within QRM of CBRE being responsible for managing team of Commercial QRM Directors on a National basis. In 2023 Ben was appointed Head of Pacific Commercial VAS.
Ben has previously held a number of senior roles in the property industry. Prior to joining CBRE, Ben was a Property Risk Manager with St George Bank. The role involved assistance with the origination, structuring, risk assessment and review of all new investment and development property lending opportunities loans in excess of $10m. Prior to this, Ben’s roles included 6 years as Valuation Manager at Dexus Property Group. He was responsible for the portfolio valuation and financial analysis of a $15 billion portfolio of Retail, Office and Industrial properties. He was also in acquisitions, disposals and maximizing the portfolios performance.
Ben has a broad knowledge of a number of real estate asset classes both Locally and Nationally. Having had exposure to a broad range of asset classes including but not limited to Office, Industrial, Retail, Hotels, Retirement Villages, Residential Development, SDA, BTR and Service Stations.

- Drive QRM strategy for Pacific VAS
- Education and Training
- Reviewing and improving CBRE report templates and models
- Provide project management and risk assessments of VAS contracts and tenders with clients.
- Ensure that any reports reviewed meet CBRE's, clients industry and insurance requirements
