CBRE’s commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion recognised following Australian Workplace Equality Index assessment

CBRE has been awarded Silver employer accreditation following the latest Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) assessment, the national benchmark for workplace LGBTQ+ inclusion.

The AWEI index examines employers’ policies and practices with organistions awarded Bronze, Silver Gold or Platinum recognition. CBRE’s latest assessment saw the company move from Bronze recognition received in 2024 to Silver.

Of the recognition, CBRE’s Pacific Executive Managing Director of Property Management and EC Sponsor for LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Natalie Slessor said, “CBRE’s values-driven culture is all about fostering an environment in which all employees feel heard and valued and can bring their full self to work.

“Securing Silver accreditation in our latest AWEI assessment underlines the progress we continue to make on LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and not only supporting our people in these communities but helping them thrive.
