CBRE strengthens its office leasing capability with two senior appointments

CBRE has bolstered the depth of experience in its Victorian office leasing team with the appointment of James Palmer and Nick Drake.

The pair played instrumental roles over the past decade securing tenants to many of Melbourne’s landmark commercial developments including 555 Collins Street, Wesley Place, 101 Collins Street and Melbourne Quarter. 

Mr Palmer has been appointed as Regional Director of Office Leasing, with his role having both a local and national focus.

Mr Palmer, most recently at JLL, brings over 20 years of project leasing experience, acting on behalf of large domestic and offshore institutional landlords, developers and investors.

Mr Drake has been appointed as Joint Head of Office Leasing in Victoria, working alongside CBRE’s Ashley Buller.

Mr Drake has also joined from JLL and brings two decades of experience in commercial office leasing with expertise across project and development leasing, having acted for both private and institutional landlords throughout the Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank markets.

CBRE’s Head of Office Leasing, Pacific, Tim Courtnall said the strategic hires would further strengthen the firm’s client offering in Victoria and national leasing platform
