Ms Crotty will assume leadership of the Consulting platform from the end of October and will join CBRE’s Pacific Executive Committee, reporting directly to CBRE’s Australia & New Zealand CEO Phil Rowland.
Ms Crotty joined CBRE last year in a newly created Australian role as Head of Specialised Transactions. She brings 30 years of industry experience and a broad skillset spanning commercial property, healthcare, education and government sectors.
Mr Woodcock joined CBRE in 2021 through the acquisition of Thelem Consulting, the leading Australian Development & Infrastructure advisory firm he founded in 2014. Following the acquisition, he successfully integrated the business into the CBRE platform and more recently played a pivotal role in establishing CBRE’s unified Consulting business.
CBRE’s Consulting business brings together capabilities across Real Estate Strategy, Structured Transactions, Development & Infrastructure Advisory, Building Depreciation, Sustainability and Workplace Solutions.
Mr Rowland said Ms Crotty was ideally positioned to guide the ongoing evolution of the Consulting business.
“Liz combines strong commercial acumen with a client-first mindset and deep experience across a diverse range of sectors. She is highly regarded by clients and colleagues and is exceptionally well placed to lead the next phase of growth for our Consulting business,” Mr Rowland said.
Mr Rowland also acknowledged Justin Woodcock’s significant contribution to CBRE and the broader property industry.
“Justin has played an instrumental role in bringing together our Consulting capabilities and establishing a market-leading platform. His leadership, vision and client focus have left a lasting legacy across our Pacific business, and we thank him for his outstanding contribution,” Mr Rowland said.
To support a seamless handover, Mr Woodcock will remain involved in an advisory capacity for six months to assist in transitioning key client relationships and maintaining business momentum.
