Senior Appointment Strengthens CBRE Melbourne Capital Markets Hotels Team

CBRE has appointed experienced hotels specialist Benson Zhou to the role of Senior Director, Capital Markets, Hotels further strengthening the firm’s Capital Markets capabilities and international investor reach.

With more than 13 years of industry experience, Mr Zhou has a strong reputation across hotel, retail, development, and office sectors, advising on some of Victoria’s most significant transactions and delivering outstanding outcomes for his clients.

Recognised as a market leader in Melbourne’s commercial real estate market, Mr Zhou’s most recent role saw him lead the Hotels, Commercial Sales and Asia Markets team at Savills Melbourne. He brings deep expertise in both domestic and international investment markets.

Combining language capabilities with deep cultural understanding and transaction execution prowess, he has played a pivotal role in facilitating cross-border transactions and connecting international capital with Australian real estate opportunities.

Mr Zhou commenced his role on July 6, 2026.
