CBRE appoints new Pacific Head of Industrial & Logistics - Leasing

CBRE has promoted Tom Rourke to head its market-leading Pacific Industrial & Logistics Leasing business.

Mr Rourke commenced his career with CBRE in 2014 and has held leadership roles in the Western Sydney I&L team for the past five years.

“Following an extensive internal and external search, Tom was a standout candidate to lead our I&L Leasing team. His appointment highlights the depth of talent within our Pacific business and the opportunities for talented individuals to advance their careers,” said CBRE’s Head of Leasing & Consulting in Australia & New Zealand, Darren Nugent.

During his time at CBRE, Mr Rourke has established himself as a trusted strategic advisor for clients and a highly respected leader of the firm’s market-leading Western Sydney industrial business.

“Tom’s deep understanding of industrial property trends and occupier/purchaser mandates has driven his continued success in a highly competitive market and strongly positions him to lead the continued growth of our Pacific Industrial & Leasing business,” Mr Nugent said.

Mr Rourke’s promotion follows Mike O’Neill’s recent decision to step away from his I&L leadership role to focus on his passion for brokering deals in a sector where CBRE anticipates considerable growth as part of the firm’s Pacific Strategy. Mr O’Neill will also continue to advise clients as part of CBRE’s NSW I&L team.

Mr Rourke’s appointment as Regional Director & Head of Industrial & Logistics - Leasing, Pacific, will take effect on June 1.
